Inspired by watching the amazing variety of birdlife in my local city park, I have chosen some of my favourites to create the Park Life collection - a range of hand painted bird brooches.

This lovely stylised jay design is cut from FSC certified sustainable birch and the beautiful patterns and colours of the jay's plumage have been painted entirely by hand using eco-friendly Farrow and Ball colours.

Jays are part of the crow family and, like the other members, are very intelligent birds.

The jay brooch measures 6.5cm wide and like all Shark Alley designs, it is light and easy to wear.

The brooch comes beautifully packaged, with its own display card, and also includes a cute little card featuring a photo of one of the jays from my park, plus some fun jay facts.

The jay brooch ships free to the UK.
