Shark Alley's painted collection is inspired by the faded, weathered, painted wood of the English seaside and the sun-bleached colours of Mediterranean walls and doors.

The owl brooch has been cut from cherry wood and engraved with an original hand-drawn design.

Cherry wood has a lovely rich warm hue and goes really well with all fabrics and colours.

The owl is hand painted in eco-friendly Farrow & Ball paint in duck egg blue and white, then individually hand finished to give it a rustic, vintage feel.

Like all Shark Alley brooches, it light and easy to wear.

The brooch comes attractively presented in recyclable packaging, making it a great gift.

Due to the natural variations in the wood and finishing, each owl may differ very slightly from the one shown, but will be just as pretty.

This design is also available in natural wood.
