This is part of a collection inspired by the English seaside town of Lyme Regis, famous for its fossils and prehistoric discoveries, and the dinosaurs of the Jurassic age.
The scelidosaurus brooch is cut from warm-toned cherry wood and engraved with a stylised design inspired by the dinosaur's skeleton. Like all Shark Alley brooches, it is light and easy to wear.
The scelidosaurus was a plant-eating dinosaur found in the British Isles, and was about four metres long.
This scelidosaurus comes packaged on its own presentation card tucked into a natural kraft pillow box, making it a really great gift (if you can bear to give it away!). The packaging is recyclable.
