Blue Tit - Hand Painted Brooch
Inspired by watching the amazing variety of birdlife in my local city park, I have chosen some of my favourites to create the Park Life collection - a range of hand painted bird brooches.
The blue tit is a real little acrobat of a bird, being able to eat upside down, and is a popular visitor to parks and gardens.
This pretty blue and yellow bird has been the basis for this stylised blue tit brooch design, cut from FSC certified sustainable birch and painted entirely by hand using eco-friendly Farrow and Ball colours. The back of the brooch is painted a mustard yellow and both sides are finished with a satin varnish.
The blue tit brooch measures 5cm wide and like all Shark Alley designs, it is light and easy to wear.
The brooch comes beautifully packaged, with its own display card, and also includes a cute little card featuring a photo of one of the blue tits from my park, plus some fun blue tit facts. The packaging is recyclable.
