Shark Alley's painted collection is inspired by antique painted wood and the sun-bleached colours of the Mediterranean.
As well as brand new designs, some existing pieces have been transformed, including this small hare brooch in duck egg blue. The hare has been cut from cherry wood and engraved with an original design inspired by fields of corn. It is hand-painted using eco-friendly Farrow and Ball colours to give it a warm, natural feel, then finished with satin varnish.
The brooch comes beautifully packaged, making it a great gift. Each brooch is a one-off, so may vary slightly from the one shown but will be just as beautiful.
