Large Woodpecker - Hand Painted Brooch

Inspired by watching the amazing variety of birdlife in my local city park, I have chosen some of my favourites to create the Park Life collection - a range of hand painted bird brooches.

The exotic-looking great spotted woodpecker has been the basis for this striking brooch design. It is cut from FSC certified sustainable birch and painted entirely by hand using eco-friendly Farrow and Ball colours. The back of the brooch is painted olive green and both sides are finished with a satin varnish.

The large woodpecker measures 8cm long and like all Shark Alley designs, it is light and easy to wear. The woodpecker brooch also comes in a smaller size.

The woodpecker comes beautifully packaged, with its own display card, and also includes a cute little card featuring a photo of one of the woodpeckers from my park, plus some fun woodpecker facts. The packaging is recyclable.

The woodpecker brooch ships free to the UK.
