Long Tailed Tit - Hand Painted Brooch

Inspired by watching the amazing variety of birdlife in my local city park, I have chosen some of my favourites to create the Park Life collection - a range of hand painted bird brooches.

This stylised long tailed tit brooch is cut from FSC certified sustainable birch and the beautiful patterns and colours of its plumage have been painted entirely by hand using eco-friendly Farrow and Ball colours. The back of the brooch is painted silver grey and both sides are finished with a satin varnish.

Long tailed tits have tiny bodies and very long tails and look like little fluffy teaspoons. They enjoy each other's company and often hang round in gangs of up to twenty.

The long tailed tit brooch measures 6cm long and like all Shark Alley designs, it is light and easy to wear. Another version of the long tailed tit is also available.

The brooch comes beautifully packaged, with its own display card, and also includes a cute little card featuring a photo of one of the long tailed tits from my park, plus some fun long tailed tit facts.

The long tailed tit brooch ships free to the UK.
