From the humble dandelion to the magnificent foxglove, the Shark Alley flower range has been specifically designed to be worn either alone, with another flower, or to be paired with one of the Shark Alley bird brooches as a kind of perch for the bird, or to complement or contrast with it in terms of shape or colour.
This brooch is based on the profile of a dandelion, often overlooked as just a weed but in reality a pretty, sunshine yellow flower with complex layers of petals and a gentle fragrance redolent of summer.
The dandelion is cut from FSC certified sustainable birch and painted entirely by hand. The back of the brooch is painted electric blue and both sides are finished with a satin varnish.
Like all Shark Alley designs, it is light and easy to wear and can be styled on anything from jackets and t-shirts to hats and scarves.
The dandelion comes beautifully packaged, with its own display card and pillow box. The packaging is recyclable.
