The long eared owl brooch is cut from FSC certified sustainable birch and painted entirely by hand, with an engraved pattern of chest feathers. The back of the brooch is painted in burnt orange and both sides are finished with a satin varnish.
Like all Shark Alley designs, it is light and easy to wear. Its symmetrical design makes it great to style as a central feature, such as on the neck of a buttoned-up shirt. It measures 2.5cm x 5.5cm.
The brooch comes beautifully packaged, with its own display card, and also includes a little card featuring one of my photos of a long eared owl plus some fun little facts.
The packaging is recyclable.
