Large Woodpecker - Hand Painted Brooch

2.5cm x 8cm | FSC certified birch
The exotic-looking great spotted woodpecker, with its bold black, white and red markings, is the inspiration for this brooch design. It is cut from FSC certified sustainable birch and painted entirely by hand using eco-friendly Farrow and Ball colour. The back of the woodpecker is painted olive green and both sides are finished with a satin varnish.

Like all Shark Alley designs, it is light and easy to wear.

The brooch comes beautifully packaged, with its own display card, and also includes a little card featuring one of my photos of a woodpecker, plus some fun woodpecker facts.

The packaging is recyclable.

* Please note, each woodpecker is painted by hand and may differ very slightly from the one pictured here. It may also include brush stroke textures.

The great spotted woodpecker also comes in a smaller size.
