Shark Alley's painted collection is inspired by the faded, weathered, painted wood of the English seaside and the sun-bleached colours of the Mediterranean.

These pretty songbird earrings have been cut from cherry wood and engraved with a design inspired by lush Mediterranean foliage.

Cherry wood has a lovely rich warm hue and goes really well with all fabrics and colours.

The songbirds are hand painted in eco-friendly Farrow And Ball paint in duck egg blue and white, then individually hand finished to give them a rustic, vintage feel.

The earrings are light and easy to wear and the posts are silver-plated with large, comfortable plastic backs.

The earrings come attractively presented in recyclable packaging, making them a great gift.

Due to the natural variations in the wood and finishing, each pair of songbirds may differ very slightly from the ones shown, but will be just as pretty.
