Redwing - Hand Painted Brooch

Inspired by watching the amazing variety of birdlife in my local city park, I have chosen some of my favourites to create the Park Life collection - a range of hand painted bird brooches.

The redwing comes to visit us in the winter and is the smallest member of the thrush family.

This lovely bird has been the basis for this stylised redwing brooch design, cut from FSC certified sustainable birch and painted entirely by hand using eco-friendly Farrow and Ball colours. The pattern on the chest is made up of tiny engraved heart shapes. The back of the brooch is painted a warm chestnut brown and both sides are finished with a satin varnish.

The redwing brooch measures 5cm wide and like all Shark Alley designs, it is light and easy to wear.

The brooch comes beautifully packaged, with its own display card, and also includes a cute little card featuring a photo of one of the redwings from my park, plus some fun redwing facts. The packaging is recyclable

The redwing brooch ships free to the UK.
